6th Street
6th St. is home to a variety of annual events including: South by Southwest, The Republic of Texas Biker Rally and The Pecan Street Festival. On Fridays and Saturdays the city closes the streets to vehicular traffic allowing for a safe and fun walkable environment for all to enjoy. Come stop by Friends Bar on sixth and Brazos and see what the locals love about Austin’s, 6th street!
